Never drink this product the morning after a night of margaritas. I was only slightly hungover when I went to get Advil. I saw these and like Roni I couldn’t resist. I bought a pomegranite-acai for myself and a blueberry-raspberry for my girlfriend who also had a slight morning-after-margaritas headache. We sat on the couch drinking our Light Weights and both of us immediately felt awful. I started hiccuping and had the worst heartburn of my life. She started feeling nauseous and curled up on a ball in the couch and it hurt her to talk. I felt terrible myself but I went out to buy saltines and ginger ale for her. As I was walking down the stairs to my car, my chest alerted me that I was definitely going to be vomiting within the minute. It was all I could do to make it outside of the closed-in parking lot, where I proceeded to puke Function-colored liquid all over the delicately-placed flowers outside of my apartment in broad daylight. The acid burned extremely bad. After getting back with saltines and ginger ale for my girlfriend, I told her that I thought the Functions must have done this to us since we were pretty much fine before drinking them. At this point, she felt like I had a few minutes before and ran to the bathroom where she too vomited up her Light Weight. The heart burn lasted for hours (for both of us). We both got sick after drinking this and felt better after throwing it up. I’m honestly pretty scared to drink that stuff again. My guess is that the acidity of the orange liquor/tequila/lime mixture the night before didn’t agree with the citric acid in the Light Weights, but I’ve never had anything like that happen before.

Water with vitamins has been done. I’m glad to see someone coming out with something that has some research behind. I’ll check it out, thanks. Drink up; even if it has mis-colored carrots : )

The purple carrot juice ingredient made me laugh – I bought some purple carrots at the farmer’s market last summer, took them home, washed then peeled them .. big mistake, the purple is only in the skin. I felt like such a fool for spending so much more for colored carrots, only to throw the colored skin away. Totally random, I know :)

Yeah, I drink these all the time and love them. The also have one called Urban Detox I really love after I have had a few drinks. Did some research on them and they seem to be legit … physician developed.

Been getting them at Whole Foods mostly here in Austin, but see it around various places.
