Same reason why I am not hoping on the scale before Saturday! I hope one day that freaking hunk of metal doesn't penetrate my mood that propels me to binge eat... the way it does now... one day, one day it will happen, a girl can dream can't she?

Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow and looking at your number! For me, weighing myself last week and not liking the number was exactly what I needed to get my butt in gear. I officially weighed in at a meeting yesterday and low and behold, I am back to my pre-holiday weight!

I seriously must have been retaining water last week ha ha!

AND my munchies this week have been pretty rough. I have picked up crocheting again which has definitely helped. AND may I say that cherry tomatoes are an awesome snack when you just need to eat SOMETHING. I have a little baggie here at my desk at work.

Directed at reader Laurie. reading your post was awesome. you are awesome. you gave into the craving but then turned around and worked the extra calories off. that is beyond awesome. I always think about going jogging after a few beers to work of the calories, but somehow I just dont find it safe! ha ha. Really, I should jog first then drink :)

What was is about yesterday? I was attacked by OREOS last night and went to bed feeling so bummed that I gave in! :( (I'm sure I polished off a whole entire row of them and washed them down with diet coke at 10pm, OMG) Even after brushing my teeth and using mouth wash, I still woke up with the after taste of OREOS in my mouth....YUK! May I never let that happen again. Todays a new day! :) Have a great one!

I feel like I am going through withdrawl from sugar and fat. Today has started out the best of any since the holidays. Maybe I've gotten over the hump?!

It's not just you, trust me. This week has been inexplicably awful.

Oh well, at least it will give me something to write about next Monday.

Hey Roni!

I think it's great that you're training for a Half as well as a Full Marathon this year. I'm a fellow loser/maintainer (Went from a size 10 to a size 2, 40lbs gone for just about 3 years now) and have also become a runner after losing the weight-- I've done 3 full marathons now plus a slew of other races here in NYC. I just wanted to offer my support - please feel free to email me with ANY questions about running and eating while running, and balancing a healthy "weight watchers" lifestyle while training, etc! Get ready to see some serious changes - not just in your body, but in your mind and spirit as well. The distance running will become time consuming, but well worth it. I know you'll love it and I'm sure you'll knock all your goals out of the park!!!

Anyway, I think you are such an inspiration and I check your blogs for updates daily. You're a rock star, mamma!!! Oh, and I'm glad we're facebook friends too :-P

I know the feeling...some of my daughters Whoppers in the fridge kept calling me as did some ice cream. I was proud of myself though...instead of getting mad at myself and eating more, I got back on the treadmill for some extra workout time to try to compensate for the unnecessary calories. Truly a non scale victory!!
