That’s a very cute tradition. :)

(Although I have to admit, the only reason there’s a Christmas tree in my apartment right now is because it belongs to my roommate and she put it up entirely by herself.)

I loved reading this. I am the one that buys the special ornament each year (or more than one special – for this reason, or that). It was nice to see someone else doing it also, especially when it is your husband that takes this special tradition to heart.
