I’m at BlogHer DC…

I almost forgot about it but I’m at the BlogHer Reach Out Tour in DC and it’s great! I’m totally behind and will be updating tonight! Just wanted to keep you in the loop.

I *should* have a video posted on Playtex Baby soon. They roped me into to doing a quick video for them when I got to the conference. It’s not posted yet but should be up in the next few hours.

I have to get back, I’m speaking in 10 minutes! YIKES! I’ll be back later.

6 miles down…. 20 to go!?!

Roni's Baltimore Realy NumberI did it! This morning was the Baltimore Running Festival and I did my 6 mile relay. It was the longest I ever ran and I loved every minute of it!

Don’t get me wrong, about 4 miles into it I was playing mind games with myself and I started to question if I could do it. But then I’d see a family on the side of the road cheering on their mom or a couple on their stoop watching the race and I’d smile. It didn’t matter that the signs weren’t for me I was there, running, part of it, part of the event and that felt AMAZING. Addictive even.

Quaker Multigrain Cakes – Cinnamon Toast

Quaker Multigrain Cakes - Cinnamon ToastThis is more of a food re-find. I started buying these back a few years ago and have been meaning to post about them every since! I forgot about them (not all stores carry them) for a bit until coming across them again last weekend.

These are one of my favorite Quaker Products. They aren’t "Rice Cakes", which have a reputation of being bland and boring, they are "Multigrain Cakes", and cinnamon to boot! You can’t go wrong. The texture is yummy and and each cake as the perfect amount of sweetness.

Made with Whole grain rice, corn and oat flours these are a snack I love to share with the toddler. He’s been munching on them since he entered finger food age.
