Review: Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Heart Healthy VitaTop and Some Fun News! Last year I tried the Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Flavored VitaBrownie and they soon became my favorite Vitalicious product, until now! Recently I got a chance to try the Dark Chocolate Pomegranate VitaTop and I like it even better! I mean they taste identical but the size and shape of the VitaTop is nicer, especially when you pull them out of the freezer. They defrost fast and (I can’t believe I’m going to admit this) even taste good frozen. That’s right, I’ve eaten them frozen and so has the toddler. ;~) They also have a better shape to top with a scoop of your favorite lite ice cream!

If you remember I announced a few months ago that I had a Vitalicious store front. Vitalicious and I have been talking about a few promotions and I’m really excited about our new relationship. We are working on a “Roni’s Favorites” sample pack, a contest and I got them to agree to a Roni’s Weigh promotion code! So if you plan on buying any Vitalicious products please use the code RonisWeigh, you’ll get 10% off and be supporting my sites at the same time! Vitalicious will also be launching a new blog soon and asked me to supply some videos! How cool is that? :~)

I’m super excited about this. Vitalicious and I have had an informal relationship for a while. They’ve sent me samples to try and even used some of my ideas in newsletters but this is more “official” and I feel like my blog is growing up in a way. Plus I really like their products! :~)

i LOVE titatops and THANKS roni for the coupon code. your 10% code is better than the 5% codes that come directly in the vitalicious emails!!
i ordered the cornbread vitatops and they are a new fave in addition to the choco and bran. i take the cornbread vitatop, nuke it for 25 secs and add 1/4c. chili and a sprinke of WW cheese! this is a yummy chili/cheese/cornbread comfort food dish for me! all for THREE points!!

    That’s so exciting!
I have to say, I love vitamuffins and vitatops! I really love the fact that you can buy the mixes online because it’s such an affordable option!! I buy them in the 6-mix boxes because they often have sale promotions on those and the shipping is no different than if you buy one box. Gotta love vitalicious!!!

    Hey Roni,

I found you page from Leigh Peele’s blog. I really like your site. I love Vita Muffins! I have not seen these yet. My favorite is the Chocolate Chip ones in the box that you make yourself. I am definitely going to try these.

I love vitamuffis! I buy the chocolate mixes and make my own. I have one every night with a WW Giant Fudge Bar cut up on top of it. What a great treat for 2 points!

Oh – and I have had the chocolate pomegranite brownies – they are to die for!

I’ve been sort of “lurking” around a few weight loss blogs in the past few months as I embarked on what I hope will be my last weight loss journey. I found a link to website on another page and I am just as impressed as I am inspired by your site. I still feel a bit funny sending you or any blogger a comment, but I had to finally write and thank you. Your words echo many of my thoughts and it’s just nice to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I can do this.

Now off to check out the VitaTops! I had heard of the company but never tried anything. Any ideas for sweet tooth cravings are much appreciated.

Thanks again and congratulations on your collaboration with Vitalicious.

    Hi Roni,
Is your code/discount available for use in Canada? I order from Vita online, but it’s the Canadian “store”. Just wondering if it’s inter-changeable? I’d love to support your site when I order!

Congrats! That is so awesome. Pretty soon everyone will be recognizing you. Maybe I should have asked for your autograph. You could have signed my baby! hahaha I’ll have to remember that next time we bump into each other. :)

Hi, I am Roni’s friend from Vitalicious. I thought it would be easier for me to answer some of your questions directly and save Roni from being the “middle-man”. First off, I just want you to know that I also eat VitaTops frozen especially the chocolate flavors- they kind of remind me of the chocolate cake part of the ice cream sandwich.

Most stores are carrying the Golden Corn VitaTops or VitaMuffins & I believe they will eventually be in all stores very soon. Also, the website offers flavors that are not available in the stores.

The mixes are a better bargain because they are approx. 50% the cost per muffin, shipping is less expensive (unless you add frozen items to your order) and they taste better fresh-baked (my opinion- don’t tell the owner).

We can extend the coupon for Canada for 5% off. Pricing is different on that site.

thanks for the discount. I just ordered some and had then sent to my mom so that she can send them to me overseas. I cannot wait until they get here. I am excited. I just hope they are still okay to eat after being in the mail for a week…grr…

Christy, tell your mom that they must be frozen when they arrive & should be shipped frozen. They should NOT be in transit for more than 3 days. She’ll need to explore some rush shipping options. You should also freeze them upon arrival to you. Our product is designed to be re-frozen without any loss of integrity to it. Hope this helps.
