Thank you Roni!
I also have started back at WW (for the umpteenth time). I love reading your blog and have thought about starting one of my own when my husband and I retire (hopefully in a couple of years).

thanks for responding to my questions about getting off track and getting back on. Ever since I posted that I am back on full steam a head! I now exactly what you mean about the mind set and I know I have it or eles I wouldnt feel bad about eating bad. I know the stress thing was a total excuse and lots of people can stay healthy and be stressed :) You make great points and you are such a motivator - not a bragger- please dont ever think that!!!

thanks!

Roni, Please tell Miranda (the lady who doesn't like her body) that it is SO worth it. I always hated my body, I was short, I was bigger than other girls, I gained over 100 lbs with my first baby and never looked back. I was 291 lbs when I joined weight watchers and walked with a cane (and had for 10 years, since early 30's), I got out of breath vacuuming, needed a break to finish mopping my kitchen, etc. I have lost 145 lbs. I feel like a different person and my body IS a different body. It's not perfect to look at, but it is strong and I can walk w/o the cane. I can run, I can climb stairs. I love living in this body that can DO so many things. It's hard to like a body that is in such sad shape that everything is so HARD. I have loose skin, boy do I ever, and probably always will since I am in my late 40's, but life is so much better. I had to work SO hard to be a good wife and mother because of my weak body; but, now my granddaughter calls me Super-Grammy on the playground. SO WORTH IT!

I think you should have theme music. My old spanish teacher (in college) had an entering and exit song. He carried around a little boombox (we did a lot of translating music) and he would enter and exit a room to this spanish gameshow host music. It was awesome.

I always thought my theme song should be along the lines of "Fat Bottom Girl" by Queen or "I like big butts" but after 20 lbs lost...that applies less. My but is still there but it seems a little counter intuitive.

I also like Eve's "Whose that Girl"

Check out Alexs last blog post..Holy Hell Fire

I think that you need to take baby steps to get back on track. Whether it be you eat healthy more and more each day...or maybe work on walking a couple times a week until you can actually work out on a schedule...Eventually all the pieces will come together and will just be a habit and be part of your daily life.
