Amy - You are approaching it perfecting! You have to understand you aren't seeing ALL my days and I don't count EVERY day. I'm 3 years into maintenance so my approach is way different then yours. I also stopped counting for awhile and then go back to points when I'm feeling the need for accountability.

Keep doing what you are doing, I had ALL your same fears and every week that's gone by I start to trust myself a little better.

Hey Roni,
I was just reading your food journal and was wondering about your daily points target- I saw that you had 26 points today (and worked out)- the reason I am contemplating what your target points may be is because I am trying to determine my maintenance points and it's looking like mine will be more than 26. I am 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and I am at 119 lbs. I don't excercise regularly, and from everything I have researched, my maintenance points could be as much as 29 or 30 daily (I'll know better as I fine tune). Am I off with my understanding of maintenance? My daily points in the losing mode were 20....I am adding 4 extra to start maintenance and see how that goes...plus I can still have the 35 extra weekly (I add 5 each day)- that's 29...right? I am so scared that I will regain all the weight I have lost, but I know I need to eat more than 20 points daily to maintain. I guess my point in saying all of this, is to ask if I am approaching maintenance right? I have seen some of your daily journals and I am getting worried trying to figure out how many points I should have (because I realize you are much taller than me and more active, yet your points are lower than where I am starting for maintenance). Any advice would be awesome- I am just scared to regain, yet I want to make sure that I am eating enough.

Thanks for any help you can offer!
