Good breakfast, productive, awesome workout, who could ask for more?

Now I’m exhausted and instead of trying to stay awake to get more work down (and munching in the process) I’m going to relax and watch the Olympics. :~)

If I get up early enough tomorrow I’ll get the video/podcast up I recorded yesterday. It’s almost ready. Until then, have a great night!

    Hey Roni,
I was just reading your food journal and was wondering about your daily points target- I saw that you had 26 points today (and worked out)- the reason I am contemplating what your target points may be is because I am trying to determine my maintenance points and it’s looking like mine will be more than 26. I am 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and I am at 119 lbs. I don’t excercise regularly, and from everything I have researched, my maintenance points could be as much as 29 or 30 daily (I’ll know better as I fine tune). Am I off with my understanding of maintenance? My daily points in the losing mode were 20….I am adding 4 extra to start maintenance and see how that goes…plus I can still have the 35 extra weekly (I add 5 each day)- that’s 29…right? I am so scared that I will regain all the weight I have lost, but I know I need to eat more than 20 points daily to maintain. I guess my point in saying all of this, is to ask if I am approaching maintenance right? I have seen some of your daily journals and I am getting worried trying to figure out how many points I should have (because I realize you are much taller than me and more active, yet your points are lower than where I am starting for maintenance). Any advice would be awesome- I am just scared to regain, yet I want to make sure that I am eating enough.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

    Amy

Amy – You are approaching it perfecting! You have to understand you aren’t seeing ALL my days and I don’t count EVERY day. I’m 3 years into maintenance so my approach is way different then yours. I also stopped counting for awhile and then go back to points when I’m feeling the need for accountability.

Keep doing what you are doing, I had ALL your same fears and every week that’s gone by I start to trust myself a little better.

That adds up to 25 points!
