Quick Running Mix

Date August 17, 2008

I’m not in the mood to write. Do you believe it?! It may be because I recorded a few Ask Roni sessions this afternoon and I’m all ‘talked’ out. :~)

However, I did listen to a new mix during my run tonight and I wanted to share. I’m going to be working hard to get my grove back this week.

As always, some songs may be explicit…

Song Artist Length
Everyday People Sly & The Family Stone 2:22
The Rat The Walkmen 4:22
Bounce System of a Down 1:54
Got My Mojo Working Muddy Waters 4:11
(Can’t You) Trip Like I Do Crystal Method & Filter 4:28
I Wanna Be Your Dog The Stooges 3:10
Run (I’m a Natural Disaster) Gnarls Barkley 2:40
Brianstorm Arctic Monkeys 2:50
Pretty When You Cry VAST 3:50
Hello, I Love You The Doors 2:32
Total Running Time: 32:12

  1. I love Arctic Monkeys! MY favorite song is Florescent Adolescent, it’s GREAT to run to! How long was your run di? time? Are you getting better? I am still battling side stitches, need work on my breathing apparently, I am breathing to shallow. Guess I think I am working harder than I really am.

  2. my husband always laughs when I say IM ALL TALKED OUT. I NEED TO BE QUIET.

    in shock I think.

    and in thankfulness :)

  3. I had to comment because it isn’t often that I find people who know who VAST is…I used to date one of the band members and he is a good friend of mine still. I love alot of their music :) Good choices for a run!

  4. That is TOO COOL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Video Audio Sensory Theater. One of my favorite all time albums, the second one (music for the people I think) not as much and then I stopped keeping up with them. But his voice is just awesome! I should check out their newer stuff.
