I've been wondering why people (myself included) are so scared to be hungry. There's a spoil of food in this country. I don't think it's the food's fault, I think I need to take a deeper look inside.

I'm loving the concept of eating a mini meal every 3 hrs....if you can....so you never get to "I'm so hungry, I could pass out".......this is working for me most of the time. Sometimes, I just pop about 10 almonds and go. It really works :) Kind of tricks the brain!

For me, it's not the going hog wild that's the problem (anymore), but that I tend to grab the same thing each time, and it's usually doesn't last long.

I should remember these words when I've been stuck at work longer than expected (I work part time and never take a lunch), and I come home and don't take the time to prepare something that will last me until dinner (it's usually a quick sandwich that I end up eating for lunch). Then around 4pm I feel like I need a whole other meal again. If I just stopped to think of what would satisfy me for the next 4-5 hours, I might even end up adding a healthy vegetable to the meal. It's also laziness on my part, if I'm going to be 100% honest about it. :-\
