I feel asleep…
August 1, 2008
that’s right, asleep! I was so exhausted last night that I passed out on the couch before Fear Itself even came on and I was so looking forward to seeing it because I’ve missed it for weeks.
Needless to say, because I fell asleep, I didn’t post my menu, I didn’t clean out my inbox and I did get any work done. *sigh* BUT I did get some much needed rest and now I feel rejuvenated! I don’t think I’ve gotten more then 6 hours a sleep in months! It just seems like no matter what time I fall asleep my body (and sometimes the toddler) wakes me up before 7AM every day. I used to make fun of my mom for the same thing and alas it’s happened to me. The body clock has kicked it up a notch I suppose. You’d think it would also happen to the husband but noooo that man can sleep 14 hours in a row if you let him. I’m SO jealous!
Anyway, yesterday was a "food day". I feel like I was eating constantly but I made great choices. Even limiting the "free" pasta that was offered at the office. I didn’t make it to the gym but I’m about to head out for boot camp right now. I also may have some exciting news on the running front. I’ll keep you posted!
Oh! and something screwy is happening with my email. I’m not getting any comments from the site. First the hacker, now this. I’m about to strangle my hosting company. I think it’s time to upgrade! Any super-bloggers out they with hosting suggestions?

I have that body clock too :) They say the hours of sleep from midnight to about 3 are the most important and I believe it because when I am disturbed by a child at that time….I feel crappy the next day. Some times, a girl just needs her sleep :)

Hi Roni. Have you seen the blueberry-mango crisp that Dani Spies just posted a couple days ago?

You may be interested in reading “Appetites” by Caroline Knapp.
Don’t be turned off by the advertised subject matter if you look it up on Amazon. It’s quite a bit more broad than that.

Jessie, just read the description, it’s sounds very good! I’ll check it out on my next library trip! Thanks for the recommendation!
Running news is definitely a race, I may be joining a TEAM! Not sure yet, I’ll be posting ASAP when I hear!

Roni, I guess you know what a great cook you are! Almost every time I read your food journal for the day, I am tempted to cook what you have listed. So tomorrow I am looking forward to making your summer veggie bake, and some of that sweet and tangy salmon-mmmmm mmmmm! So fun to look forward to food, AND know it is healthy for you!
