    Hi Roni,
Love your website! I check in every day. Just read your link back to 2005 about nighttime snacking and I have a question. You mentioned you never go over on your points. Did you eat all of your flex points? Activity points, too? Just curious as I go back and forth on this and can’t quite decide which is the best strategy.

Thanks! Oh, and I have a son named Ryan, too!

Funny you should ask that! I answer it in my next video post. I squished one more recording in the other day. I should have it up tomorrow or Friday. Short answer I ate some of them! ;~P

    Hi Roni,
    Love your site!!!

Here are a couple more ideas for the person who will be traveling:
    -Pretzels (pre-portioned out)
-Dry cereal (seperated into single servings)
-Make your own chex mix – cereal, pretzels, goldfish – portion it out into individual servings
-Make your own trail mix – mix up some nuts for protein, plus pretzels, plus a couple chocolate chips or m&ms, gold fish, cereal, etc.
-crackers with low fat peanut butter
    -fiber 1 bars

If you can pack stuff in a cooler – bring some cheese, yogurts, cottage cheese – these may be messy for the kids, but you could eat these with a throw away spoon.

    Enjoy your trip!!!

    Hi Roni!
Thanks for being so specific with which snacks you eat. I appreciate it!

    Hi, Roni
I just thought of pita bread and hummus.. I bet you could do the oven baking with those mmmm!
Thank you for saying that you eat before bed:) Honestly if I try not to eat before bed I will get up at night. Sometimes I am awake but not always. I am known to sleepwalk and eat in my sleep.. Yep its possible, my hubbie finds the wrappers in the morning. My uncle does the same thing we theorize a drop in blood sugar.

Roni…were you thinking about PastaQueen as the one who lost weight and her skin went back to normal?

Thanks again for the video! (and the podcast)

  7. Melissa says:

    More traveling ideas…
    -cheese strings
-pudding thrown in the cooler- makes me feel like I’m getting something not in a package..if that makes sense
-Light Fat Free Pringles (14 for 1 point! How awesome.)

  8. Katie says:

    Hey Roni!

What is fruit leather and where can you buy it?

  9. roni says:

Katie, I wrote about it awhile back on GreenLiteBites…. http://greenlitebites.com/2007/12/04/fruit-leather/
    Hope that helps!
