Hello,

I just stumbled upon your topic and thought I'd add my own "wheat sense". My husband and I are both dieting which tends to annoy our 4 children...they strongly dislike wheat tortillas as opposed to their white unhealthy counter-part. I have tried every brand in the book and they always snub their nose to them. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and make them homemade. Try this yummy recipe and you'll find they're quick, easy and sooo delicious!

1 cup wheat flour
1 TBSP. Canola or Olive Oil
6 TBSP. water
1/4 tsp. salt
Mix ingredients, divide and roll into 8 balls. Roll-out on a generously floured surface (make them super thin) and fry in (iron skillet if you have it) lightly greased with canola or olive oil. Yum! Takes only 15 minutes and they don't have all of those nasty preservatives that store bought tortillas sometimes have!

Just found an awesome torilla. It's by La Banderitas and it's called "X-treme fiber". It has 75 cal/2g fat/8g protein/12g fiber. It's soft and very good!! It's not on the website but I found it at Super Wal-Mart in the bread isle (in Alabama).

Hi Roni,

New to your site and the point system. Love what I am learning. Can you tell me how you determine the points you earn by excercising?

Thanks so much!

Another good choice for 1pt tortillas...TARGET. Their Archer Farms brand wheat tortillas are only 1pt and SO good compared to a lot of other wheat ones. We live on these. I know their are Target's everywhere!

Their are also 1pt FlatOut! Wraps (the 100 calorie Multi Grain ones). So yummy for pizza wraps!
