Fair food is JUST NOT WORTH IT!!
So what if you can only get potato pancakes and deep fried perigees once a year. I mean really, they aren’t THAT good??

Amen, Sister.
There ARE some foods which are so worth it to me (and which also ick other people out. it used to be PEEPS–man I adore those–when they were once a year things. now they are always around) but most of them?
the more I ponder (read: lead with my HEAD and not my gut) the more I realize I dont even like them all that much.
how the fair was *fun*
MizFit, who for some inexplicable reason needs to have people forcibly direct her AWAY from the FRIED OREOS.

OKAY>>>>>”Note to Self”….You don’t have to eat at all 5 graduations. Quit telling yourself you are just being polite. Next time go on a FULL stomach!!

You should do it! It’s about weight loss success stories. YOu’re already famous in my book but this could bring a lot more people to your sites. :)

You are so right, Roni! I just had a moment like that myself. After thinking about the biscuit and gravy from Wendy’s for months, ever since it came out, I got myself one … It was pretty tasty, but definitely not 9 Points worth of tasty!
So now I’ve had it and can stop thinking about it for several months, at least.

I splurged on a REAL* piece of cake (ok it was like half of a miniature cake, I gave in to depression) about 2 weeks ago. It didn’t taste like I remembered it to taste. It used to be GREAT and I would eat the real stuff at least 1-2 times a week. Now it is just bland and coats my mouth with a fatty film.
*I moved on to Vita Muffins for my new cake.

Well…last night for dinner, I was surrrounded by hot wings, loaded french fries with bacon and cheese, AND batter fried onion rings. Talk about me just wanting to sneak one piece in my mouth. (the french fries were right in front of me) However, I was content with my grilled chicken and broccoli. I can’t believe I had such will power. If it was some type of sweets that was in my face…thats a whole other story. I can’t resist home baked goods. Did I mention I hate going out to eat with the family? lol

The IDEA of those foods is always better than the real thing, isn’t it?

I feel this way about movie theatre popcorn. It always smells way better than it tastes.

I’m with you…went to a party yesterday where they were frying onion rings, broccoli, green beans, red peppers, and I hadn’t eaten all day because we were hugely busy….so I indulged, and not in too many, but still my body hurts mainly my tummy and no it was not worth all of this stomach pain. :(

I did the same thing this weekend, Roni! Big festival here in town and I went for the Corn Dog and the pure-sugar lemonade. I also walked 2 or 3 miles yesterday, so I’ve convinced myself it balanced out. ;)
