I have never been under 200 pounds in my adult life, was 160 at my lowest in high school and i objectively can say I was cute but could have stood to lose a bit more. I found an article somewhere that said a BMI around 23 combined with good waist to hip ratio had a lower occurrance of heart disease, so that would be 141 for me. Anything over 153 is considered overweight for me so I figure it has a cushion so i can catch myself if I see weight gain but still isn't rediculously skinny. I hope to be in size 8 jeans as an additional goal. Also important to me is a low body fat percentage. being skinny is no good if you are skinny-fat.

I've been a WW in one way or another literally since I was about 6. Lifetime now for 25 yrs, but still have been up & down. First goal wt in my late 20's would not be physically possible for me now!! I finally found a weight that feels comfortable and maintainable (although I'm still on about a 10 lb pendulum where I have to get serious and face the music about once a year). My BMI is 24.2, which is the high end of healthy and feels just about right to me. I have to eat healthy and exercise to be able to maintain that, but not anything too crazy. I'm determined NOT to succumb to the "menopause middle" - wish me luck!! The thing that keeps me going is realizing I now weigh only 15 lb more than I did in the 5th grade.

When I was 18 years old, I weighed 110 and waist was 21. This was over 40 years ago. I am 5'5 now and never expect to get that skinny again. My goal is around 145 pounds. I have lost 54 pounds since August of 2009 and weigh 183, so I have a few to go. I plan to be that weight and stay that way

I don't know if this counts, because it's sort of weight dependent, BUT I would love a closet full of the same size close... not the "2007 summer diet close," "2006 meet the husband close," the "2009 changing life moment close," the "whole six months, I decided to eat Oreo's cloths" AKA.... all different sizes! I have from size 14 down to size 4!!! I envy those who can pull out close from a multitude of years and put them on... and it all fits!! It's all part of their wardrobe! My husband has that ability... I just need to et down to my ideal weight and stay within the a size!! I can do it... it's a different frame of mind this time! :)

I read everything I could about healthy goal weights and decided on 148 lbs. because it is healthy and I would be skinny. The last time I weighed that much I was 12, so I am still scared of the huge change sometimes. The little in-between goals make it a little better though.

I might adjust the weight if I see that I will have to torture myself to lose those last 2-4 lbs., but we'll see.

WW is telling me 135, but I'm aiming for 140, because that's the lowest weight I was able to maintain for an extended period of time.

But who knows? Maybe I'll commit to 135 or even 130. :-)

I don't think I know what my goal is yet. The goal WW has for my height seems way too low for me so I am just working to get close to 140 and see how I look.

It's been so long since I looked anywhere near there that I feel like I will know more when I get closer.

I picked my WW goal at the high end of my range - 141 - but that's too much for my height of
5'2" 1/2. I knew I wanted my weight to be anything in the 120's so I set my personal goal to 129. That's about 10 pounds higher than when I was at my ideal weight in my 30's. Being in my late 40's now, I didn't think it was realistic to go below the 120's again. I'm now maintaining at about 127 and I'm fine with that. I had a stomach virus and got down to 125 but that didn't last long once I started eating again. If in one year from now and every year after that my weigh is in the 120's I will be very, very happy.

My WW goal is 145. This is 50lbs less than what I am now and falls into that range that the doctor gives you for your height. I'd love to be lower, but this is my goal. Also, I realize that it is an achievable goal. It's not lofty or out of reach. It is something that is do-able for me in 6-10 months as I've just started WW. Thanks so much! I've enjoyed your blog and enjoy your recipes.
