On workdays I try to have a banana and a glass of milk before I leave for work, since I'm nursing and if I don't have anything I might just pass out. I was eating toast, but I figured it would be better to get in a fruit and a dairy. Once I get to work I often have oatmeal -- I like Nature's Path brand instant oatmeal.

When I'm working at home or on weekends, it tends to be cereal (Kashi Autumn Wheat is a favorite), or morningstar patties or vegetarian corndogs (this is a great on-the-go breakfast too, and only 3 points!) And sometimes on Sundays I make waffles. Another quick one is whole wheat toast with Laughing Cow Cheese.

I always always eat breakfast, and always have. When I was pregnant, I'd eat it three times to chase off morning sickness!

Before Weight Watchers my breakfasts consisted of fast-food (cinnamon cluster and chick'n minis from ChicFilA or french toast sticks from Burger King or crap from McDonald's) or two donuts and the biggest, sugariest (it's a word now) iced coffee I could find.

Now it's a serving of V8 VFusion Light Strawberry Banana (1 Point and 2 servings of fruits/veggies), a banana (another serving or two of fruit, depending upon the size, and about 2 Points, again, dependent upon the size), and sometimes a serving of skim milk. I try to be conscientious of my healthy eating guidelines so that I get a good start on them.

Once I get to work I'll sometimes have instant oatmeal with peanut butter and/or honey, maybe the banana if I didn't eat it, or applesauce if I'm out of bananas, or I'll have a Special K Cereal Bar. When I first started WW, I stuck with 1 Point English muffins with peanut butter and/or honey and/or sugar-free fruit spread. I still keep them on hand, but don't eat them as regularly as I once did.

I'm just not energetic/awake enough in the AM to deal with eggs or anything even the slightest bit time consuming. I'm lazy, and my breakfasts reflect that!

I like to have a large balanced breakfast(being the most important meal of the day),so I have plenty of energy to get me through until lunch. I typically have assorted fruit and cereal such as oatmeal or seven grain hot cereal. I also enjoy buckwheat pancakes or waffles with a protein side and fresh grapefruit.

Oh, no! I feel really weird saying this, but here goes...I am 36 years old and I eat 1 Cup of cocoa crispies with 1/2 cup skim milk almost every morning for breakfast! My husband cringes when I pour it in my bowl but I just LOVE it! I've always been a "sweet breakfast eater." It used to be doughnuts (2 or 3) or a huge muffin, so this is a little better. It is 4 points and it satisfies my sweet tooth. And it makes me feel not so guilty that I eat a strict veggie lunch.
Tera

I'm like you- I have a few things I rotate through. I am not a big breakfast person though. I just need something light. Anything to heavy makes me feel horrible the rest of the day.

I like oatmeal w/brown sugar, hot chocolate made with skim milk, cereal, SBD bars, fruit, english muffin with scrambled eggs(1 egg + an egg white), or a latte if I am heading out and don't have time to make something.

I’m pretty boring. I have to leave the house by 630am to be at work on time at 7am. I am one that MUST HAVE 8 hours (at least) sleep to be fully functional and non-grumpy. This means I get up long enough to have the MINIMUM amount of get ready time necessary… which also means I am usually NOT hungry for breakfast unless I have actually had an early dinner the night before or didn’t overeat the night before. BUT since I don’t have lunch until 1230pm, and no time to grab a light breakfast or snack between my leaving the house and lunch at work, I have to eat something before leaving. So for me, breakfast is cereal with a sliced banana and skim milk on top….and a glass of water to wash it all down before brushing my teeth. Occasionally on the weekend, I’ll treat myself to a 16 oz nonfat sugar-free vanilla latte and and an eight-grain roll (yummy)…or waffles with fresh fruit.

For me, just the fact I’m EATING breakfast is a huge deal…I used to have it every day, back when I was in the best shape of my life. I would have cereal with a sliced banana and a yogurt every weekday as well as one day on the weekend… Then the other weeeknd day, I would make the yummiest bran waffles with appleasauce topping or french toast with fresh strawberries…… Somehere along the way I got out of eating it thinking it was a way to save some calories. Now I’m back into eating breakfast because I have a physical job and would pass out from hypoglycemia before lunch if I didn’t, but morever because I want and need to be healthier….But with adding breakfast back in, I find myself struggling to actually cut out the extra calories I used to eat late at night because I wasn’t eating breakfast. It is a challenge, and one that I am failing miserably at right now given my life. But, I'll get there eventually.

I am not a breakfast eater, so I figure if I'm going to eat breakfast, I might as well eat something that is nourishing and cholesterol-lowering.....like oatmeal! I find that starting the day with oatmeal also curbs my cravings.

Unlike most of you, I don't add milk or sweetners to my oatmeal. I grew up eating oatmeal like a thick soup, so it is salty instead of sweet; I think my dad called it "mush." It is basically just oatmeal, boiled in water with a sprinkle of chicken flavored bouillon (to taste). My son loves oatmeal prepared this way!
