Long Day-Short Post-Busy Momma
March 10, 2008
I HATE Mondays!! I can’t wait until this semester is OVER!
Sorry I’ve been MIA. I’ve been working on the VitaMix contest, picking finalists and starting to make and archive the recipes. Plus I hit the gym twice this weekend for a cardio blast class and a weight training session with the trainer (I’m still sore). I’ve also been playing around with the whole-wheat pizza dough experiments. The husband is officially sick of pizza but now I have to make it one more time to practice and photograph for the site. I’m thinking a video would be fun but it will require a bit of editing since it needs some time to rise. Oh! and I’ve been working on my new company site. Did I tell you that? Oh yea, I did. Like waaaay back in November. LOL Ummm all that and I work full time (for now) and have the toddler. What the eff am I thinking?!?
Ok, I think it’s time for bed. ;~P

I can sympathize with being sick of pizza.
Mostly because of a recent food poisoning episode.

Sure you couldn’t fit in one more thing? You definitely take the award for most “irons in the fire.” If we could all keep up with you, we wouldn’t have to worry about our weight!

question…did I miss something? Why do you count carrots as 1 point in your food blog? Only if you cook them or they are canned right? Please specify…freaked me out…eat them all the time when I am out of points…just wanted to be sure! Thanks for everything especially the recipes…love the lemon poppy muffins…made them today in fact!

Thanks guys!
as for the carrots, check my FAQ. I eat a lot and base the points on the nutritional information of how many I ate.

I saw the recipe for your whole wheat pizza dough and I can’t wait to try it! Oh, and a suggestion for the video - why don’t you make a dough the night before and then just prepare another piece of dough for the video. This way after you’re done preparing it, you can switch to the dough that has been rising over night - and credit it to the “magic of television” =)
