Note to Self…
February 7, 2008
Pack more healthy snacks for the day. You aren’t eating enough and I think it’s causing you to want to snack excessively after dinner.
However, good job keeping it in check and making a healthy snack instead of grabbing a bag of chips or having the husbands chocolate cupcakes. It was WAY more satisfying and much better for you.
(side note: I posted a new video tonight, watch me make part of my dinner!)

Snack packs are a godsend, aren’t they? The weeks I get my little ziplock baggies out and portion things out are by far my best weeks. I feel slightly guilty about using so many plastic bags in my attempt to save the world though. :) Have a great weekend!

I learned the hard way to always keep snacks available. If I skip them, I find myself binging later in the evening. Good for you for keeping your options healthy!

I’ve always been bad about snacking, and even though I eat healthier stuff in the evening, that is my weakest time. This week, I focused on trying to not eat my SF/FF Jello pudding after dinner anymore or munch on anything and I have lost 2 pounds! This is after a very long time of not seeing the scale go anywhere but up. I have new hope!!!

I hear ya!
Another little trick – I almost always add a green salad to my dinners. One teaspoon of olive oil and some balsamic vinegar, and it’s a 1 point side that fills me up for much longer!
