I live in Grenada and eat these crackers all the time. I put creamy peanut butter and apple butter on them and make a sandwich. I find they are much more filling this way. Im back for the summer in the US and cant find them anywhere. I have looked extensively online and just like everyone else cannot find any information except from Uncle Harry's website for Duke University which is closed for the summer. If anyone could let me know where they have found the light and sweet ones I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you

The plain or wasabi ones are really good with a Laughing Cow Light spreadable cheese wedge. The savory ones average less than 10 calories per crisp and the cheese is 35 for the wedge. Great rich taste for not a lot of calories.

If these are the ones I'm thinking of, they are sometimes called snow crackers or snow wafers. Salty, light rice wafers with a thin sweetish coating, right?

Personally, I love them, but only one or two at a time. They have just enough of the "sweet and salty" to make me feel happy, but the flavor is bland enough that I don't feel like eating the whole bag.

The soy or teriyaki flavored ones are wonderful.

Hi Roni,

I've found some rice crackers at the health food store that I really like but I don't usually buy them because of the cost, and because they are inspire me to overeat on them. (!)

The only ingredient is brown rice, (no salt, no sugar, nothing else) which is perfect for me. They really are good. :)

I often buy rice cakes that whose only ingred. is brown rice (no salt, nothing besides b. rice). These aren't the same as the crackers, they're rice cakes....I like the Meijer brand, they remind me of puffed rice cereal.

I don't eat them everyday since whole food is better, but they're great for traveling and being on the go.

I buy these all the time. Not this brand, but the product. The crisps do come in several flavors -- sweet and salty (like you had), just salty, and a savory almost soy flavor. I buy them at the Japanese grocery store, and since I don't speak Japanese, and the only english on the packages is the nutritional info, it's completely random as to what flavor I'm getting. I like the plain salty ones the best and the savory ones are awful.

Sweet and salty is one of my weaknesses and I would probably totally go for these. I also like the Wasabi peas that you find in the Oriental aisle. I throw a few in a salad once in awhile or mix a few in with dry cereal along with a few raisins to make a kinda Chex Mix thing.

One of my favorite places to get lost is in the International foods aisle at the supermarket...it is full of fun things to try!

I found something very similar to them, but they were just a sweet flavor, they had a vanilla powder dusting. They really did have a good crisp airy bite. My son has every food allergy known to man so that's how I initially found these, but unfortunately for him I polished them off.. :) I'll see if I have any left because I think this brand had a website. They also had an asian BBQ flavor unless I'm mistaken, which is very possible.

Roni,

Look at this link http://shopuncleharrys.dukestores.duke.edu/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16_126&sort=20a&page=2.

Wow! That seems like a really long link. I'm not very good at this, so I hope it works, but I found some spicy ones, and a bunch of other products from that same company...and others.

Bonnie
