That's crazy about the bottled water. I didn't hear that. On the news this morning they were talking about the healthiness of bottled vs tap. I guess tap water is regulated by higher standards than bottled water. Yikes! But I'm with you. I'm not a hysteria bandwagoneer either... hey, do you have an Superbowl food recipes? I guess I should go mill around and see for myself... just thought it easier to ask! :))

The thing I hate about most of the water bottles (other than Nalgene) are that the tops are too small to get inside with a sponge to clean...there's only so much "cleaning" swishing water will do.

And, of course, 10 years from now the news reports will probably say that we have too much aluminum in our bodies (they already say that about cooking potatoes in aluminum foil). I give up...there will never be a "100% right way". :)

Me again -- Didn't read before I posted and saw that someone had already recommended the Kleen Kanteen's -- Sorry for the repeat. Also, I ended up chukcing my Sigg bottles because I think they have a metallic after taste (But I'm a very fussy water drinker who downs 12 or more glasses a day!)

Hi Roni -- I switched my families water bottles recently because of the growing concerns with leeching plastics and we now use Kleen Kanteen stainless steel bottles. They are awesome. No mineral after taste and they have a great sports pack top on the larger versions. In case you're interested... Love your site! Sara

I used to use a Nalgene water bottle, but I recently switched to a Sigg. It's aluminum with a resin liner, so it doesn't taste like bottle.

Hmmmmmm.... I must do research on this BiSnifferAll chemical (or whatever it was). I just bought a new water bottle this past weekend.

All that cooking sounds lovely. Can I move in with you guys?

I'll put in my vote for the Sigg water bottles. My teenage son was taking bottled water to school every day and it was getting expensive so I discovered these bottles from a site I can't now remember, but I bought him one and myself and I'm really starting to up my water intake. The water doesn't taste funny and stays very cool in the bottle.
