Roni--

I had never heard of this book or Tracey Mallett but it caught my attention on your site. I ordered it off Amazon and am waiting for it to come. I like the idea of fitting in little bits of exercise here and there. Although I realize that dramatic results in six minutes is unrealistic, I am hoping it will give me a way to put some variety into my exercise routine. I did some research before I ordered the book and two things struck me--the testimonials on Tracey's website are not dramatic--no one is saying they lost 150 pounds in six months with six minutes a day of exercise. Most of the women have lost 10 to 15 pounds and have toned up a great deal. Secondly, in all the reviews that I read on Tracey's other exercise programs I did not find one single person who gave a bad review--everyone was positive and said that they had had good results. I'm looking forward to receiving the book and I'll let you know how it goes...

Anonymous - You know, I didn't even think of it that way. I appreciate your comment and welcome it!

Sometimes I think we (or I) am so desensitized from the blatant use of the females body, and sex to sell things. I mean the market is so saturated with it, it's really unbelievable.

You are right, this book may be taken more serious by people if they didn't use this tactic in their marketing.

Great point!

I appreciate the wide variety of interests and ideas you post, so, while I am being critical of this book, just know that I'm not being critical of you or what you do here. That said, the photo on the cover of this book is enough deterrent to keep me from buying it, let alone the ridiculous title, which clearly illustrates a complete misunderstanding of working towards and acheiving a healthy and successful lifestyle, not just a "sexy in 6" quick fix. I think it's this sort of media which intimidates and discourages many women from even trying to make meaningful, if small, changes in their attempts at longterm weightloss and fitness.
