More Food Finds and No More Munchies

13 Comments 1221 views

I hope you don’t mind but I’m bringing back the food finds. At first I thought I would post all food related stuff on my new food blog GreenLiteBites but that really has become more of a recipe blog then a product blog and I like it that way. So (not that you needed this big long explanation) I decided to continue to write reviews for low point products I find here. I realize I’m not the only one who does this type of thing and I don’t have a lot of man power but, honestly, I love grocery shopping, I love discovering new things and I love sharing. I hope that’s ok. ;~)

As for me… the MUCHIES HAVE SUBSIDED! Finally! However I totally didn’t bring enough food for my first day back at work. I didn’t have the munchies after lunch I was SARVING! I mean stomach growing hungry. And I had nothing left except a cookie from a co-worker and a handful candy. Not the best choice but I ate just enough to stop the stomach from growling. Then it was home for a nice dinner.

Sometimes you are in the zone and sometimes you just aren’t. If that would have happen to me a few days away I think I would have gone through a drive thru.

Tomorrow is all about the Dance Class! I CAN’T WAIT!

Until then.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

I can’t wait to hear all about the dance class. Hubby and I have been toying with the idea and there is a great dance studuio in town that gives couples classes for just about any type of dance so I’m anxious to hear what you think about it.

I’m glad the product reviews are staying, I’m always looking for new products to try and your opinion has a lot of weight in my house :)

    Hi Roni,
The 94% fat free popcorn you have on your food log for yesterday, you have listed 4 points, was this a typo? I thought it was 1 point. Just wondering. Thank you :)

You have never been more right about being in the zone. Last night, I was starving after work, but instead of pigging out on some crap foods, I just continued to be hungry until I finished fixing what I had planned for dinner. It’s not good to let myself get that hungry, but at no point did I think I should go grab a Snickers or something dumb like that!

Hooray for no more munchies Roni!

Ok,I know 100 Calorie snacks are “old news” but I tried one tonight that was a great find – especially when everyone in the office is receiving their Girl Scout Cookies they ordered. Keebler 100 Calorie bags of “Grasshopper” cookies – taste JUST LIKE (texture same too)Girl Scout Thin Mints without the guilt. Satisfies the craving for them without clearing a whole row of the real ones! Just thought I would share.

I just posted the Grasshopper comment – just wanted to add you get your Thin Mint craving satisfied for about 2 points instead of 2 points PER COOKIE for the Girl Scout version. YIKES

if you pop a big bag of that popcorn, it’s really hard not to eat the whole thing!
