“I CAN NOT BE-LIEVE IT!”
November 5, 2007
Said like my favorite Little Einstein character, Quincy. Can you tell I have a toddler?
In all seriousness, I really cannot believe it. I hopped on the scale for the daily morning reading fully expecting it to be at least 5 pounds up but knowing I didn’t actually gain 5 pounds in a weekend. I was bracing myself for the water weight and such. To my surprise it was only up 1/2 pound!?!? This was utterly shocking mostly because I know my body pretty well. Weighing in daily for 2 years will do that to you. I have literally “gained” 5 pounds overnight on more then one occasion, especially after a weekend of brownies, fried foods, tons of cheese and just overall JUNK!
Now I’m bracing myself for tomorrow almost like there’s just a delay or something. LOL I know it’s not true but I feel like I have to somehow pay for me weekend of over indulgences.
All that being said maybe there is something to this working out thing. Since starting to seriously workout about 3 months ago, I’ve noticed my indiscretions don’t matter as much. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying I can go nuts and eat anything I want but I am surely noticing more “wiggle room” in the diet. Why didn’t ANYONE TELL ME THIS! I would have started a lot earlier. ;~)
Let’s see. I had other things I wanted to tell you but now, of course, I’m exhausted and my brain is failing me. I hate Mondays! Anyway, I am WAY behind on email and comments. Bear with me, I’ll catch up this weekend. I’ve also been working on my new food blog. I honestly can’t remember if I told you about it or not. If not, here’s the deal. I’m working on a new food only blog where I can post my recipes and food related posts. I never anticipated having as many recipe ideas as I do and I’m finding older recipes are hard to access. I really want to archive them in an easy to access way.
Needless to say I’m a busy bee!

Dear, you really make my day :-)
For those who are horizontally challenged, it is Great News to read the title of your post.
Over the years, I did have some rare experiences like yours. It is what we called technical corrections like in stocks trading. It could be just one-off as well.
A lot of people prefer the natural approach to weight loss. Perhaps, it is a good approach for you too.

I’m so out of the loop when it comes to the toddler cartoons. My son loved Franklin when he was little and my daughter was a huge Mary-Kate and Ashley fan. She is now into the Jonas Brothers and anything on Disney Channel. I’m old
