Roni, I was also going to mention the muscle gain, especially since you've started really working out.
Have you seen Tory's site at MsTeechur.com? She lost 100 pounds with weight watchers and was down to her very lowest weight. She now runs marathons and does triathalons and gained 5 lb., but it was pure muscle. I think her bodyfat percentage went way down.
Anyway, don't just look at the scale. You need energy to fuel your workouts!
Thanks for the inspiration!!

Hey Roni, this isn't about your post, but I was looking through your food pics and I noticed that I have one of the recipies that you lost! It is the Failed raspberry fudge thingy. Here it is!

Failed Raspberry Brownie Fudge
I attempted the can of pumpkin trick on brownie mix. What I ended up with was not a brownie at all but more of a dense fudge like experience. They satisfy a chocolate craving and “the toddler” LOVES them! Just do not expect a “brownie” if you make them. I tried to capture the texture in the picture so you wouldn’t be shocked.
• 1 package traditional Fudge Brownie Mix (I used phillsbury)
• 1 - 15 oz can of pumpkin
• 2 egg whites
• 1/3 of cup sugar free Raspberry preserves (jelly)
• ¼ cup of water
• Non-stick cooking spray
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and spray a 13 x 9 baking pan with the cooking spray. Add all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with a plastic spatula until well blended. Pour half of the batter in the baking pan and place in the freezer for about 10 minutes or until the batter is a thicker consistency. This will allow you to spread a thin layer of the jelly on top (it will be a very thin layer). Pour the rest of the batter on top and let sit at room temperature for a few minutes. Bake for about 35 minutes. It will never really seem “done” like traditional brownies. You will always get batter on the toothpick.
If you cut them into 20 pieces, they are about 2 points apiece.

Roni - if you're adding muscle, the scale will go up. There are lots of people out there who started working out, gained 10-20 pounds (or more) and simultaneously went DOWN 1 or 2 dress sizes. If your pants fit the same and your scale is going up, it's muscle gain - which will boost your metabolism. Make sure to eat enough to fuel your muscular body! check out www.skwigg.com and www.stumptuous.com for awesome ass-kicking working-out females.

Skwigg, in particular, is about 5'8", 140 lbs, and eats like 2800 calories a day. She's insanely active, of course, but still!

Roni - since you share so much with everyone, I thought I should share something with you. 8 weeks ago the longest I could run was about 100 yards and I was completely winded, I found the couch to 5k plan at http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml and I am now running 3 miles and about to run my first 5k, it is completely unbelivable and the program has been great for me. Thanks again for all that you do!!

Dave

I think we all have this problem as we reach or exceed our weight loss goals we start having little one night slips and then when we see it doesn't affect the scale the next day we do it again..and again..and again. The next thing we know it's almost Thanksgiving and these slip ups have added 5 lbs and turned into habit since Memorial Day. Yup, I speak from experience but also have to tell you i've turned it all around this past week and already feel better. I realized that i'd rather indulge with one AMAZING day/evening then little crap things (I don't even really like chips or M&Ms) all week. Good luck!
