I’m tired, lazy and spent too much time updating my food blog.  So I’m cutting it short tonight but wanted to pass on a great post by Carolyn from One Pound at a Time.  It’s nice to read a happy post, especially one where someone recognizes what they have accomplished and sees the positive changes in herself.  Call me a sap, but I almost teared up reading it.  I think I’m in a similar place and it is still unbelievable to me after 2 years!

    Lexy,

Thanks so much for the kind words!
Actaully no one has asked me that in awhile but I should add it to the FAQ’s, no?
Anyway, the table is just an HTML that I coded. I did a write up here…

for the communiy. Have you tried to copy and paste it? It should work for you. If not I’ll do a post that contains the HTML for everyone.

    Roni,
I might be in the wrong section for asking this question, forgive me, I am not very good at this! Just wondered if you enjoyed cooking, coming up with your own recipes, etc. BEFORE the weight loss success or if this happened along the way. Your recipes are delicious, clever, easy, healthy, and inspiring. I am not much of a cook but have been making your recipes and love your site.

I had picked this post up the other day and was inspired. It’s nice to see people reach that spot that we’re all working towards. Funny how sometimes people do focus on a number and miss out on the fact that they’re already THERE.

Roni – I think you cheated yourself out of 2 flex points yesterday. The soy crisps were 4 points – that should have brought you to -12 not -14!!

I bought the Women’s World magazine yesterday- you look AMAZING (although I love your ‘real’ pictures more because you don’t look airbrushed!) Keep up the good work- you are a motivation to all of us!

Thanks for the shout out. As I’m sure you would know, most of the time I feel as though I’m just typing away my own thoughts and never really think that anyone is going to actually read and think about what I’m saying. It’s so nice when people comment about how my post has affected them or when they comment that they’ve been reading my blog for months now, it always takes me by surprise!

Anonymous(1) – I always cooked but I didn’t get the passion until I started getting creative to lower the points of recipes. Then it became a challenge, and I LOVE a challenge. ;~)

Anonymous(2) – You ARE right!! I fixed and and I get 2 more points! And boy do I need them!

    I know every point counts!!

    (Anon #2) :-)

ps – I bought the magazine with you on the cover the other day! So cool!!
