What to write? What to write?

My head is swimming with a million topics and when I start them, I get completely distracted. So I decided to just post the menu with some quick points.

  • I’m proud of myself for rearranging my schedule today and hitting the gym BEFORE work. I never do that. It just made me feel good ALL day!
  • I had my choice between McDonalds and Subway for lunch today because I ran out of frozen leftovers. I choice subway because McDonalds discontinued the Southwestern salad, WHY?!? Man! I’m going to miss that thing! I may have to come up with a recipe to mimic it.
  • Since the husband wasn’t home for dinner, the toddler and I picked. Sometimes I love dinners like that. It satisfies my munch side.
  • Check out my morning Scale reading! I couldn’t believe it. I did officially weigh in at Weight Watchers today and I was down 1.6lbs. I’m so close to my goal range I can taste it!

Morning Scale Reading: 139.5 (WHAT?!? how did that happen? – first time below 140 on a scale reading since July!)

a swig (or 2, maybe 3) of chocolate milk (the good pre-made stuff – MAN why did the husband leave his leftovers starring me in the face on the top shelf of the fridge! 2

    I went to McDonalds on the way to work Wednesday morning to buy the Southwestern dressing because I read on HG they were taking them out of the McDonalds. I asked the manager when was the last day and he said they changed it and took out the Asian one instead!! He said there was a huge increase in sales of the SW in the last few months so they decided to keep it!!
    Now I got 30 packets of dressing in my refrig….LOL. Oh well I make the salads at home too and will use the dressing. Also you can put it on chicken quesdilla’s when you make them at home like Taco Bell does….so yummy!!!

    qHi Roni..I just love your site and I can totally relate to you and family and ww and being busy and still getting it all done.
    I’m just at my ww personal goal total at home but missed my meeting yesterday so I will weigh in next week (I’m lifetime 12 1bs. under my ww goal)..I think after looking at your newer pics I can do more..maybe another 5. I will still be with the ww healhy range. Your site inspires me to do more than I ever believed before I could. I love that your honest and I read everyday and feel if you stuggle and overcome I will do the same. Before I never knew anyone like us who are’nt super human just real people who can do this if try everyday.

    Congrats on the weigh in! My first weigh in was today and was please to see a loss of 2.1 lbs. Now I’m all motivated!

    Well, I came across a recipe for McDonald’s SW salad and KNEW just the person who would want it! ;) Here’s a link:

    Be sure to tell us how it comes out! I never got to have the original before they discontinued it, so I wouldn’t know how it compares.

    Okay I am catching up on your blog after being on a 30 day cruise to Australia and was so looking forward to the MD SW grilled chicken salad and came home to find it off the menu – I thought it was just the MD I went to until I read here. It was the only good fast food and I tried it after reading about it online.
