Hi Roni! My toddler actually saved me from eating any candy! lol He would go to two or three houses, fill his hands with candy, and then at the next house he would dump his candy into their bowl and choose some more. . .we continued this pattern for about ten houses and then gave up lol
We tried to get him to put the candy in the bag but he didn't want to! It was disappointing for me but he had a blast and looked adorable the entire time, so that made up for it! ;)
Glad you had a good time! :)

I had a successful Halloween too! I had...get this, not one piece of candy! Roni, I would have been like you and if I ate one, it would have been all over! I made beef stew in my crock pot, so we didn't have to resort to getting pizza, and it worked, and I exercised too! What's up with that? I am down 23 pounds and my goal is to be at my goal weight by my birthday which is in March. I survived!! Now, if I can do that through the holidays, then that would be great!

Hi Roni:

I love your stories - They make me laugh and cry but mostly make me feel like I am not crazy or alone. I have only written a comment one other time so I have a feeling this is the wrong place now, but what has happened with your "Women's World) ( I think) photo shoot and article? Should we start buying it now so we don't miss it? Thank You, Julie D.

Hey. wow I'm really surprised that soup helps that much. I always have these really bad cravings for candy and sweets too...and I never thought about a low cal soup. this is my first time reading your page and I want you to know...that you are very inspiring. I am 21 and weigh 155. when I was 12 I weighed 185...so...haha. I've grown a couple inches but still a little chubby around the mid section. I found it was really easy to lose weight if you had a good community supporting you. I personally use this site....

http://dailystrength.org/support/Gastrointestinal_System/Healthy_Eating/

It's hosted by daily strength. you should check it out! I bet if you shared your story, that you would be able to inspire alot of people. Good luck!

I totally understand. I ate like a saint the entire day and thought that I would not succumb to the call of those little chocolate bars. I ended up having a few items (but not a complete blow out). But as soon as my mind began thinking, "well, I might as well have..." I went upstairs and put on my workout clothes and I completed a DVD workout. And with all of that, I still lost a half pound. I was glad I did the workout and drank a ton of water - it made me feel better and today, I am not obsessed with eating more crap. I am back on plan and doing well. Oh, and I sent all of the chocolate candy (which my toddler doesn't need, anyway) with my husband to work. Looks like we made it through without losing our grip - I feel a little proud of this milestone.

I was super proud of myself, I didn't have any candy from my 12 year olds stash! But I hope I can keep my hands out of the candy jar! Maybe some soup is in order.

I had the exact same problem! I was completely fine till all that candy was dumped out of my toddler's bucket! It just looked so good! And one piece turned into 5! Ugghhh! But today's a new day, right?
