Basmati - When I eat eggs in the morning I make some for the toddler too. So he gets a 1 egg and 1 egg yolk omelette! He needs the extra nutrients while he's this young anyway. So it works!

sometimes though, I do throw them away when I bake. I haven't made the leap to egg beaters yet, there is just something weird to me about getting my eggs from a container. It creeps me out! lol

So I have a question--what do you do with all those extra egg yolks?? Or do you just use eggbeaters or something? I have a seriously hard time throwing "good food" away, so I just always wonder your method....

Thanks for the kind words guys!

AS for the bacon bits I use real bacon pieces by Hormel. I believe they are only 1 point for a tablespoon, or something like that. I only need about 1 tsp to get that salty bacon flavor!

Hey - thanks for the "scale angst" link that you put in your entry the other day. I was just feeling like crap this morning about my "reading" on the scale and that little article was very helpful in putting things into perspective. Thank you.
