Hey – thanks for the “scale angst” link that you put in your entry the other day. I was just feeling like crap this morning about my “reading” on the scale and that little article was very helpful in putting things into perspective. Thank you.

I am going to be checking it out everyday now. I’m really motivated to get to goal and stay there for the long haul… about 33 to ww goal!
Thank you so much for creating such a phenomenal site.

Thanks for the kind words guys!
AS for the bacon bits I use real bacon pieces by Hormel. I believe they are only 1 point for a tablespoon, or something like that. I only need about 1 tsp to get that salty bacon flavor!

So I have a question–what do you do with all those extra egg yolks?? Or do you just use eggbeaters or something? I have a seriously hard time throwing “good food” away, so I just always wonder your method….

Basmati – When I eat eggs in the morning I make some for the toddler too. So he gets a 1 egg and 1 egg yolk omelette! He needs the extra nutrients while he’s this young anyway. So it works!
sometimes though, I do throw them away when I bake. I haven’t made the leap to egg beaters yet, there is just something weird to me about getting my eggs from a container. It creeps me out! lol
