		<description>I saw your note about cooking pumpkin. I have never tried that - looks like it we would like it - because I love all the squashes and sweet potatoes.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I had a friend - has since moved or I would ask her for you - that used to bake stew in a whole pumpkin. I think that she cut the top off and scooped out the seeds - jut like you would if you were carving it. Then she put her ingredients IN in and baked stew in the oven. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I don&#039;t know whether or not she put the top back on. When I bake Squash - I turn them up-side-down in water (I think so they don&#039;t dry out - but I don&#039;t know for sure). so maybe it does need the &quot;lid&quot; ON to generate enough heat and moisture. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Sounded like something you might enjoy trying with your son - my friend said when her girls got older - she didn&#039;t bake one - and her husband - the biggest kid of them all - really missed the tradition.</description>
