Not Much to Say
August 6, 2007
Did you ever think you would read that on my blog? Actually, I have a ton to say (of course) I’m just too lazy tonight so here’s the quick skinny….
- I went to the gym again today. I am REALLY loving this. 20 minutes on the treadmill, 10 minutes on the elliptical (man that was harder then I thought). I’m going tomorrow to meet with the trainer and start a weight training routine.
- I experimented after reading a few chapters in I’m Just Here For More Food by Alton Brown. If you are into baking, I highly recommend it. I have already learned so much although I can’t leave his recipes alone, I have to experiment and try to lower the fat and use more whole grains. It’s just in my nature I suppose.
That’s it, that’s all I have to say. :~D Until tomorrow.

The elliptical is my favorite! I get on there for 30 minutes (the maximum at my gym) and I just LOVE it!!! :) Glad you are loving the gym. It makes such a difference in the way you feel!

I love going to the gym. I do 40 minutes on the bike (11 miles) and then 45 minutes of weights. If I dont go I really start to feel achy and really need to go!
Dont be surprised if your weight goes up for a few weeks. And dont weigh in after you work out. We tend to retain water during workouts.
Also make sure you drink lots of water during and after you work out!!
Oh and most of all… keep having fun. Next week you will be dragging and a bit sore. But get past it and just go.. you will feel really good afterwards!
