You were thirsty not hungry. Next time, don’t grab the ice cream container out of the freezer. Measure out a serving size, pour a big glass of water and enjoy.

    Summer and ice cream. Another weakness here too. Last night I did put it in the bowl (but I’m sure it was more than a serving :) )Forgot about the water thing. I’ll try that next time.

    LOL, I know my husband gets a little cranky with me. Why can’t you just get something and sit down? Nope, gotta measure and journal – guess it never stops.

    That was my downfall before weight watchers, I constantly took the ice cream container to the couch with me…not a good idea. I swear I should’ve bought stock in Breyers!

    I still eat alot now, but in controlled, 1/2 cup servings :)

    Oh, i used that note to myself also. I think this is the first time in years, when my belly growled i knew i was NOT hungry and drank some water and went to bed

    I had a question, when you are creating your recipes, how are you figuring out the nutritional information? I do a bit of cooking myself from family recipes, and I’d like to convert them to a healthier version, but I’m not sure how to even start!

    You have done so great, and the journals are such an inspiration! Thank you. Here is a recipe for taco soup I make all the time, very low in points and everyone loves it.
    TACO SOUP
    1 LB lean hamburger or ground turkey
    1 Lg. can diced or crushed tomatoes
    1 Lg can hot and spicy chili beans
    2 cans corn drained
    1 pkg taco seasoning mix
    1 pkg hidden valley ranch dressing mix(powder stuff)
    Cook hamburger, drain and rinse.
    Put everything in the pot and simmer for about 1/2 an hour, and serve. Sometimes I will put a pinch of Low fat shredded cheese in a bowl. VERY FILLING. Without the beans the WW meeting said it was 2 points per cup.
