Your thoughts on maintenance really ring true for me! The thrill of the quest for losing more weight was what kept me going back every week for weigh-ins….it’s hard to motivate when you are going there just to stay the same. (Although now I’m in weight loss mode….kind of….but it seems like I’ve steadily maintained for 4 months now!) Your continued story is the kick in the rear some of us Lifetimers need AND appreciate. Good job on holding steady through all those vacations!

I’ve been LT for 2 years now so I understand the stress with maintaining! Way to go with the vacation and everything- I KNOW how hard it is. I love your site; you’re an inspiration when I feel like going and eating a pint of ice cream and dipping french fries in it!
